Ville sur Sarre
27 July 2018

Due to some problem with a tyre, we couldn't use the car till the problem was fixed. So I decided to explore the direct environment of Ville sur Sarre somewhat more thoroughly. This day I walked along the road for a while, before I found a track away from the road. While this was certainly not what I had hoped for, I was happy to find galls in the ovaries of Wild carrot. Another good find was the exclusively-female color form valesina of the Silver-washed fritillary, approachable enough for some photos.
